Welcome to my Royale Hare website!

Here you'll find information and pictures of my yarns, fibers and my brass Support Spindle.

Over many years I have designed colors inspired by the beautiful area of Northern California I have called home for most of my life. I take inspiration from The City (San Francisco), traveling north across the Golden Gate Bridge to Marin County, Sonoma County (where I live in Santa Rosa), Napa County, north to Mendocino County, and not forgetting Lake County.

Many years ago I started naming my colors after their inspiration. Nowadays, I refer to the multiple color designs as Colorways, the coordinating one color yarns and fibers as Semi-Solids and colors that have been designed by my designer friend Rosemary (Romi) Hill as Designs by Romi. Pages have been set up under the Color tab for each of the three types of colors.

Please check out my different types of yarns on the Yarn page, and the spinning, felting, crafting fibers on the Fiber page.  I have tried to provide the contents of each yarn and fiber along with suggestions and samples of how to use each.

Every yarn and fiber is available in every color!  You get to choose your yarn or fiber and what color you'd like it to be.

Take a look at my  Support Spindle page with photos and information about my unique spinning tool.

On the Gallery page there are pictures of items made with my yarns, fibers, patterns and tools.  If you'd like to submit photos of your creations please let me know.

If you have any questions please let me know!

Thank you and I sincerely hope you enjoy using my products!
